How We Work

With specialist workshops in Devizes, Bradford, Falkirk and Leicester, a dedicated technical call-centre, plus national coverage from Palfinger UK home-based engineers across the UK, we provide highly-skilled maintenance and repairs for our full product range, including a 24-hour emergency roadside breakdown service.

We carry out 95% of all repairs on site, with emergency breakdown attendance within four hours of call-out, so you can always rely on us to get your vehicles back on track quickly and effectively.

As the national distributor of Palfinger, Epsilon, and Orteco products, our engineers have a wide-ranging knowledge of all our brands and other brands in the marketplace. They are all ALLMI-accredited, trained to standards from Palfinger and Epsilon factories, which means your vehicles will always be compliant with current regulations.

Choose the contract that suits your business needs, from extended warranties, to a selection of maintenance contracts and routine servicing.

Why use our lorry loader servicing and repairs

Providing excellent customer service to your business is at the heart of what we do. We aim to be your partner of choice.

Your lorry crane complies fully with all regulations when we deliver it to you. Once you start using it, you’ll need to take care of legal and regulatory inspections, along with ongoing maintenance and servicing. Our online compliance system enrols our clients providing them with access to electronic service and inspection documents at the touch of a button.

We also offer fast, full breakdown services to minimise your vehicle downtime.

Helping your business stay compliant

There are two regulatory inspections which must be conducted at regular intervals depending on the age of your crane:

  1. Annual LOLER Inspection (or 110% inspection) – a LOLER-approved thorough examination every 12 months for vehicles under eight years old, increasing to every six months for older cranes.
  2. Full Overload Inspection (or 125% Inspection) – an additional examination needed every four years for vehicles under eight years old, increasing to every two years for vehicles aged 8-12 years.

As ‘ALLMI Thorough Examination Competent Persons’, our engineers are fully qualified to carry out these inspections.

We also provide a variety of regular service and maintenance packages to help you stay compliant, which can be conducted alongside a booked inspection or separately:

  • On demand – you ring us, we book in any work or the inspection you require and invoice you for the work done.
  • On demand routine service – sign up for our service reminder programme and we’ll contact you to help you keep on top of your service obligations. We’ll then invoice you for the work undertaken.
  • Selection of maintenance contracts from Service and Inspection to a full maintenance contact encompassing Service, Inspection & Repairs. Set up a contract and we’ll take care of your specific needs in one go by pre-booking all the work based on your crane size, use and age. You pay by monthly direct debit and our team will keep you updated at all stages.
  • Extended Warranty Packages – in addition to our servicing options, you can choose to extend your warranty term by paying up front and purchasing in annual modules.
